Hell0, dearest readers. Or should I say sniffle sniffle? Yes, I’m still sick. It’s been five days since I last posted and, to tell you the truth, I don’t really know what this post is going to be about, I just figured I should post something because I know how easy it is to fall into not doing it. If I let five days go by, pretty soon that turns into six, and then a week, two…you get the idea. My point is that I wanted to let you know I have been trying to be consistent, even though my body and immune system are doing their best to keep me from that goal. So, no recipes today, and maybe not for a little while. I’m feeling a little blocked creatively, and I’d rather really perfect a recipe and have it be something I’m really proud of and passionate about than just post a recipe for the sake of posting a recipe. Also, certain matters of personal concern have forced me to change my diet as of late, so the next batch of recipes might be a little heartier and higher calorie than my previous ones. Definitely still healthy, just a bit meatier, but without the meat because I’m vegetarian. Did that make sense? Maybe not. This post is definitely just turning into a ramble, so I’ll try to wrap it up. In conclusion, I’m still alive and dedicated to this blog, just busy with dance (Nutcracker rehearsals!) and illness. Hopefully you’ll forgive me my trespasses and this awkward post (I just realized how many times I’ve said post in this post and oh my god it’s bothering me but I’m just going to leave it). In the meantime, eat good food and enjoy the rest of fall because it’s slipping away faster than I can type (so not that fast lol). Until next time,
